Individual therapy

Individual therapy is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a therapist in a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe setting. We explore feelings, beliefs, behaviours, work through challenging personal history, seek to better understand outselves, identify aspects of our lives we want to change, and set and work toward personal goals.

psychoeducational assessment

The goal of a comprehensive psychoeducational assessment is to help identify strengths and challenges with respect to problem solving and academic ability and provide practical tools, strategies and recommendations that may help school-age students to achieve their potential. Assessments are tailored to the unique needs of each client, and may include an investigation of intellectual functioning, academic achievement, focus and concentration, restlessness and impulsivity, emotional/behavioral functioning and social functioning.
